Abstract
Some particular principles of cognitive-communicative approach in training of students in economics in reading of English language press under conditions of limited language proficiency are elaborated. Substantiated are psychological and pedagogical effects of translation-free reading in conditions of fctualization of conceptual background knowledges with support of widely interpreted contextualization.
