Do we need to follow the path of the medical education dehumanization

Implementation of the federal educational standards of higher vocational medical education creates a tendency for it’s dehumanization, which is contrary to the requirements of the professional role of doctor. Developers of the standards do not possess required competencies in the field of humanitarian education which would enable them to form a block of humanitarian disciplines. Reform of higher medical education, including its division into two levels — theoretical and practical with an increased period of study, could solve the problem.
