Features of the parental relationship in relation to the self-attitude of the individual in early adolescence

Abstract

Personality in adolescence is studied in many systems of relationships. L.S. Vygotsky was one of the first to turn to interpersonal relationships as the driving force of personality socialization. Parental attitude, as an interpersonal intra-family relationship, has a huge impact on the formation of a child’s self-attitude. In adolescence, self-attitude is objectified in the system of social identities — gender, age, ethnic, civic, socio-role, etc. — it ensures that professional and personal self-determination is not accidental. The relevance of studying the peculiarities of parental relations in relation to the self-attitude of a person in early adolescence is especially relevant in connection with the requests of the practice of psychological services accompanying the processes of professional and personal self-determination. Based on an empirical study of parental attitudes, the article presents an analysis of these parental relationships (acceptance, cooperation, symbiosis, authoritarian.
