Abstract

The article describes a simple probabilistic and statistical model for quantitatively assessing students’ knowledge in both written examinations (testing) and oral examinations. The official final grade on the conventional 2–5 scale is determined by converting the student’s total score into a grade using one of the proposed schemes.
