Abstract
Results of monitoring in activity of supervisors of studies in higher educational institutions are presented. Attention is given to qualities and competences of research supervisors, organizing of management in group of post-graduate students, coordination and control of their activity, and also to organizing and planning of personal activity of supervisors of studies.
