Theoretical analysis of peculiarities in training gifted students in foreign countries

Abstract

Analyzed is the problem of education and breeding of gifted students as one of most complicated in contemporary national and foreign pedagogy. The aim of the article is to describe comprehensively achievements in the field of education of gifted students in various countries. Leading approach to the study of this problem is method of historical and logical analysis of regulatory documents of foreign governments of foreign countries, as well as research papers of leading scientists, dealing with gifted students’ education issues. Main results of the study are in historical and theoretical analysis of socio-political and psychological pedagogical literature. Also examined is the process of formation of educational systems for gifted students in foreign countries. Materials of the article might be useful for professors, teachers, students and also for wide range of readers, interested in problems of education of gifted students.
