Specifics and development tendencies of education system in Australia in the process of basic training of teachers

Abstract

Examined is the problem of specifics and development tendencies of the system of fundamental training of teachers in abroad education. In particular, presented is the analysis of the process of reformation of educational of pedagogical education in Australia. In detail, analyzed are key problems of examining theme. Such are, as to the authors, five, namely: guaranteeing highest quality of programs of training teachers, strictest selection in pedagogical institutions, re-organization of pedagogical practice of students, accurate evaluation of quality of readiness of graduates for working at schools, and monitoring of regulation of personnel policy in the sphere of education. Attempt is made to compare the state of training teachers in various countries on present stage of development of educational process. The principal conclusion of the authors is that that there is need for taking into account world experience of pedagogical education, combining it with national educational traditions of Russia.
