Abstract
Researched is the problem of combining the work of students with their studies at higher education educational institutions. The article reflects results of the author’s sociological study, that allows to identify motivational attitudes and other circumstances, that encourage students to engage in labor activities during the period of higher education. Positive and negative sides of combination of study and work are determined.
