Professional and personal formation of an art teacher in the context of digital transformation of the information and communication system of education

Abstract

The relevance of the study is determined by the fundamental transformation of the role and functions of an art teacher in the context of education digitalization, where information and communication technologies act not only as a teaching tool but also as an environment that shapes the trajectories of professional development. The aim of the article is a theoretical analysis and synthesis of modern approaches to the professional and personal development of an art teacher in the context of the digital transformation of the information and communication system of education. Based on the analysis of international framework approaches (UNESCO, DigCompEdu, ISTE) and the TPACK theoretical model, the paper examines the structural components of a teacher's digital competence in the field of art education. Key factors influencing the success of professional development are identified, and the main barriers are systematized. Special attention is paid to the role of intra-school support mechanisms and the implementation of a continuous professional development management strategy. A set of practice-oriented tasks and cases for the formation of digital competence of students — future art teachers — in the conditions of a technopark and training sessions is developed and proposed, taking into account the specifics of artistic and pedagogical activity. It is concluded that there is a need to transition from fragmentary technology training to a systemic model that integrates formal, non-formal, and informal education, ensuring the art teacher’s formation as a subject of their own professional and personal development in the digital environment.
