Abstract

Described are some aspects of patriotism as both ethical and political principle and social phenomenon with sign nature, as well as some religious peculiarities. Conclusion is made, that patriotism is ethical and political principle, as well as social phenomenon with heterogeneous significance, meaning filling, cultural and historical context.
