Abstract
Examined is the phenomena of responsibility of scientific supervisor as one of the most important factors in success of preparation work of scientific research. It is shown, that responsibility may be external, basing on rules and laws, and inner, the essence of which is conviction of person, that it must carry out certain actions. Substantiated is priority of inner responsibility over external one, and also shown are composition and structure of internal responsibility of scientific supervisor, as well as identified is axiological nature of responsibility. Mechanisms of formation of internal responsibility of scientific supervisor are being examined, and it is proved, that the of such formation is general social task. Also argued is the supposition about necessity of forming responsibility of scientific supervisor in higher education and in post-graduation studies.
