Evaluation as essential component of quality assurance in an educational institution

Abstract

The article presents some requirements for making up an evaluation system, as well as main components and phases of an effective evaluation process. It also presents a model of management’s evaluation based on competences, such as cognitive and management activities, i.e. management of people, resource management, information management and quality assurance.
