Abstract
Modern condition of professional education in Russian’ traditional applied arts as well as aspects of cultural identity’s conservation are analised by the author. Shown is the role of the High School of National Arts in conservation of national cultural heritage by means of perfection of professional education system through the idea of “science — education — arts”.
