Abstract
Examined are historical roots of the concept of “economical anufacturing”. Foreign and Russian experience in implementing the concept of economical manufacturing in higher education institutions is presented. The authors identified specific conditions for implementing the concept of economical production at creative university, and formulated organizational and methodological recommendations for implementing theoretical concepts of economical production in practice.
