Abstract
Examined is the theme of introduction of remote training mechanism into the process of lecturing history at institutions of higher education. Researched are various aspects of distant education as one of forms of the system of lifelong education, designing at realization of the right for education and aquaring information. Also characterized are fundamental principles of introducing the system of distance education in the course of history at educational institutions of the system of higher professional education. Elaborated are principal objective and subjective conditions for realization of the named process as to concrete higher educational institutions.
