Abstract
There are a positive example of implementation of the Tempus project «Project-oriented educational methods in Russian universities» and its impact on introduction of modern teaching techniques into educational process presented in this article. General conclusions about an important role of the Tempus projects in the process of creation of the European Higher Education Area are made.
