Abstract
Presented is analysis of lecturing humanities both in N.E. Bauman’s MSTU and Massachusetts Institute of Technology, possessing rich traditions of original achievements in the named sphere. The authors compare peculiarities of educational programs and give recommendations as to possibilities of selective use of elements of American system in Russian technical high schools.
