Civil education: theoretical methodological problems

Abstract

The article discusses different interpretations of the concept of civic education. It shows the difficulty of formulating its goals and attempts to identify its basic and derivative goals. The mechanism of implementation is described as a transition from knowledge to beliefs and actions. Possible negative tendencies in its practical implementation are also identified.
