Abstract
This article describes the common mechanisms and approaches of British universities to quality assurance in higher education in the context of the Bologna reforms. The «academic infrastructure» for the development and implementation of educational standards is analyzed. The problem of improving the quality of foreign students’ education in the light of the attractiveness of the UK system of higher education is explored in the article.
