Abstract

Researched id the theme of formation of professional competences of graduates at basic departments of higher education institutions. In the article, purposes, functions, main activities of department of rehabilitation technologies on the base of GAU SO “TsARI” of National Research Saratov State University are considered. The role of basic department in vocational training of students getting an education in the direction “Special (defectology) education” is analyzed. Stressed is significance of basic department in formation of practice oriented and research competences of students, interest interest in further professional activity, and in formation of professional culture. It is noted, that the department of rehabilitation technologies on the base of GAU SO “TsARI” is effective instrument of training of highly skilled, competitive specialists speech pathologists.
