Abstract

The article discusses the problem of organizing an effective learning environment and selecting educational technologies that facilitate the perception of information by students in the context of modern higher education. To develop a scientifically grounded approach to improving the quality of education and optimizing educational activities, the article analyzes the types of information reception that are characteristic of students in various fields of education at higher educational institutions. The article also analyzes the individual psychological characteristics of students’ cognitive personality structure in accordance with N. Fleming’s VARK model, which is used to identify the main types of information transmission for better learning by second-year students in three fields of education at higher educational institutions.
