Abstract
The answers of Russian teachers showed, that, realizing the huge importance of media in the human life, three quarters from them support necessity of media education for schoolboys and students, and more than half of teachers consider, that the new speciality— «Media Education» today is necessary for pedagogical universities. Thus the majority of teachers believes, that a combination of the autonomy and integrated media education lessons for schoolboys / students today are the most effective way for media education development.
