A Table of Contents of Professionally Pedagogical Preparation of a Teacher in the System of Higher Pedagogical Education: Approach of Attainments or Competence?

Abstract

Modern figures of pedagogical and psychological sciences repeatedly discuss expediency of using in Russia competence-based approach for construction of the new contents of secondary and higher education. Its basic purpose is orientation not on formation of traditional general educational skills in the end or the generated set of professional characteristics, but a set of competences, expressed by a social order for education. Our primary goal consist in carrying out the comparative analysis generally accepted competence–based approaches (attainments and new), remembering that traditionally our Russian education used to form harmoniously advanced person in every respect: intellectual, spiritual — moral, physical, aesthetic, ethical, legal, patriotic, cultural, ecological, economic, following, for example, K.D. Ushinskiy’s or V.A. Slastenin’s ideas.
