Abstract
Examined are psychological as well as pedagogic foundations for raising professional qualification of a manager in education on the basis of the competence method. The author specially focuses on actuality of individual professional training of a specialist as a “competent manager”. Also defined are organizational and pedagogic conditions, underlying the process of individual professional development of a skilled specialist.
