Abstract
Based on data of sociological research, analyzed are some peculiarities of social activity in Russian high schools. Social activity is considered through the prism of both expectations of students’ youth and peculiarities of modernization of university education. Elaborated are key problems in social activity, as well as offered are some measures for it’s improvement.
