Abstract
The article deals with the problem of modern students concept. Its main objective is to introduce readers to the results of the international interdisciplinary analysis of the XXI century students, essential changes of their social characteristics, new personality qualities, absent in students of previous eras. One of the main results of the research is the statement that under the conditions of indefinite development prospects students more and more often become not just an object of social influence, but an active subject of social transformations, capable of reconstructing the society on new principles.
