Abstract
Proposed is classification for the notion of “spirit”, on the basis of which meanings of notions of “spirituality”, “spiritual impoverishment” and “crisis” are defined. The author’s interpretation for crises of basic valuables of modern culture, represented in works of Russian & Western philosophers and theologians, is also analyzed. The author proposed a definition for crisis of basic valuables of culture and spiritual impoverishment as it’s key modus.
