Abstract
Examined is the process of socialization of students through implementation of educational models. Based on the target program of education development for 2016-2020, the article discusses directions of counseling of educators, who carry out design and dissemination of modern models of socialization. Innovative activity is determined on the basis of approaches to the definition of “socialization”. The article provides examples of successful models of socialization of students, i.e. model of socialization through deep integration of general and additional education; model of socialization through children’s and adult educational productions; model of socialization through children’s public organizations: model of socialization by extended day groups.
