System engineering as training direction in higher education in Russia and abroad: comparative analysis

Abstract

Discussed is the problem of training specialists in system engineering in both Russian and foreign universities. Substantiated is shortage of system engineers in national labor market. Conclusion is made of expediency of apportionment of this field of knowledge in independent direction of training in higher education.
