Abstract
Examined is the problem of mathematical education of cadets of military institute of interior forces of MIA of Russia. Listed are professional and military professional competences, at formation of which studying of mathematical disciplines is aimed. Also emphasized is significance of mathematical methods for learning to handle special disciplines by students.
