Abstract
In article influence of the EU Tempus programme on quality assurance of education at universities is considered. Possibilities of creation of the international programme of double diplomas are shown by the example of realization of Tempus projects at the St.-Petersburg state university of economy and the finance. The role of the international programmes in functioning of European educational area and formation quality assurance is investigated.
