Abstract

Examined are problems of teaching in jazz stylistics and improvisation in the system of modern music education. Analyzed are characteristic peculiarities of jazz improvisation in the context of style, as well as necessity of introducing innovations in pedagogical process exposed. The authors presented progressive methodology, that would assist to increase effectiveness of jazz education.
