Abstract

Examined are basic problems of lecturing in philosophy in higher school in the context of contemporary modernization processes in the field of education. Elaborated are contradictions between existing institutionalized notions about the nature of education and internal intentions of the phenomenon of philosophizing, as well as between basic directives of mass culture as to activity of intellect and necessity to overcome the named directives in the process of lecturing in philosophy. Made is the author’s conclusion, that basic practical aim of both philosophy as such and in lecturing of it might be considered as distinctive return of mass, “single-measured” person into himself. As to the author’s opinion, humanitarian task of that level of arrogance is in need of comparably scaled expenses of physical and moral nature from both society as a whole and each person (lecturer, student) taken individually.
