Abstract
On the basis of empirical approach, presented is a comparative research in some peculiarities of civic awareness of students in megapolis, i.e. the city of St. Petersburg, and Russian periphery in Vladimir, Ivanovo, Kostroma and Yaroslavl regions. There are, concludes the author, different models of civic awareness among students as to megapolis city and small regional periphery ctntres.
