Abstract

The issue of fulfilling the order to the government of the President of the Russian Federation following the meeting of the State Council of the Russian Federation on the training of personnel for the economy, which took place on December 25, 2025, is being considered on mass education of lean production concepts, including the inclusion of relevant modules in educational programs. Attention is drawn to the feasibility of integrating the concept of lean production with the ideology of quality management, which uses a unified process approach. It is shown that at present the concept of lean production is included in the educational programs of only a few universities. It is stated that the discipline of quality management has been excluded from many educational programs of technical universities. It is proposed to include the discipline “Quality Management and Lean Production” in the educational programs of universities.
