On Russian westernism in science and life

Abstract

Researched is the phenomena of Russian Westernism in national science and social life of Russia. Characterized is Westernism as social event in it’s historical content, and also shown is it’s difference with Westernism in modern content of such. Principal meaning of the article is that contemporary widespread meaning of Westernism has nothing to do with scientific philosophical meaning of Westernism, that was one of origins of formation of modern Russian science and education.
