Abstract

Presented is an analysis for the “Tax on property” law, one of most striking examples for discrimination policy of Turkish authorities in treatment of national minorities. Based on archive official materials, works of Armenian, Turkish and American researchers, as well as on eye-witnesses’ reminiscences, the authors displayed consequences of that law in history of Turkey.
