Noxological competence in higher teacher education in the field of safety: a theoretical analysis of the prerequisites for its emergence and differentiation of basic concepts

Abstract

Examined is the problem of coming into being of definitions “competence” and “competency”. Presented is etymological analysis of the named definitions, shown are their components and contradictions. Also determined is actuality of a new in pedagogical space competence, i.e. noxological. Substantiated is pre-determination of interest of society in formation of the named competency.
