New additional study books on history for middle school

Presented is analysis of content of additional study books of subject of history in middle school. The author analyzes positive sides of these study books, and also pays attention to their defects as to facts, as well as shortcomings in content. Conclusion is made, that the very initiative of creation of such study books must be welcomed, but attitude to this question should be more serious, with paying more attention to scientific expertise of content of these study books, and carefully examine their fact base, first of all proceeding from needs of teacher of history.
