Abstract
Some aspects of students research work activity within educational space of modern technical university are considered. Key factors and basic criteria of the named activity’s effectiveness in the context of innovative education are put forward. Special attention is given to methodological support for future specialists’ research work. Results of students’ involvement in research work activity in the field of foreign languages are also presented.
