Abstract
The article deals with national engineering school as a necessary condition for successful development of modern Russia. It substantiates the necessity of forming scientific-educational and engineering approaches interconnected in a single complex, rightfully referred to as “school”. The article analyzes the Program of Basic Scientific Research in the Russian Federation for the long-term period (2021–2030).
