Abstract
Presented is analysis of scientific heritage of prominent Austrian scientist K. Lorentz, founder of the science of ethology. Attention is paid to “culture’s diseases”, singled out by K. Lorentz, corresponding to modern criteria of global problems. Re-constructed is elaborated by Lorentz explanation of genesis, logic of development and inter-relationship of corresponding problems. Established is, that peculiarity of Lorentz works is in accentuation on moral content of researched processes, and at the same time in evaluation of the meaning of economic and p0olitical factors for emergence and growth of “cultural diseases”. Substantiated is, that application of Lorentz’s approach corresponds to current trends in development of science, as well as the use of such could help to enriching of methodological instruments of modern global studies.
