Abstract
The article deals with the problem of Russian engineering education improvement in conditions of national economics modernization. To improve the quality of engineering education in Russia it is necessary to foster and develop the best national traditions taking into account world’s trends of engineering activity evolution as well as modern requirements to professional engineer’s quality. Experience of the Russian Association for Engineering Education and National Research Tomsk Polytechnic University is shown.
