Abstract
The article considers the methodological aspects of designing online courses for advanced training of scientific and pedagogical workers of universities. The stages of designing an online course, the features of presenting material for the online format, taking into account the target audience, are described. The experience of the Moscow Aviation Institute in implementing short-term online courses of advanced training programs is given.
