Abstract
The article examines practice of founding companies by universities (trends in number of established companies, forms of incorporation and constitutors’ structure, types and value of intellectual property used to form company authorized capital). Particular attention is paid on intellectual property types relevant to universities in economics. It also reveals characteristics of legal regime for exclusive rights to intellectual property.
