Abstract
Examined is the problem of influence of the process of globalization on sociocultural identity of Kyrgyz society. Researched are theoretical aspects of the process of globalization. Also analyzed are both positive and negative consequences of influence of globalization on Kyrgyz society. Special attention is paid to changes in national traditions and customs as important factor in sociocultural identity of Kyrgyz society. Based on materials of sociological research, identified are main causes of changes in national traditions, formulared are the author’s conclusions and given are consequent recommendations.
