Historical Preconditions for the Development of the Scientific Theory of Higher Education

Abstract

The article deals with periodization of the development of scientific activities of higher education in Kazakhstan. This periodization involves 6 stages. History of development of university scientific research activities helps to reveal features of university science, the trends of its promotion, creates premises of developing of a holistic theory of scientific activities of the university. Such a theory, in which the high school teacher become proficient, will help promote research activities of higher education, will increase its efficiency.
