Abstract
A person strives to come into contact with the beautiful: even minimal participation in aesthetic experience allows to comprehend the essential content of phenomena. Perception turns into action, observation is transformed into participation. As a result, the idea of a universal, homogeneous world is destroyed: reality reveals not only flexibility, but also a mosaic structure. Mosaic, however, does not guarantee sustainable development and requires philosophical reflection. Philosophy in this situation appeals to the dialectical relationship of innovation and cultural tradition as a condition for preserving integrity in the context of the multiplicity of forms of the modern world.
