Abstract
Discussed are peculiarities of economic claims of modern students and the role of such in formation of patriotism. Presented is analysis of results of empirical study of development of patriotism under influence of economic changes in modern Russia. Also shown is influence of urban environment on development of economic needs and claims of student youth.
