Abstract
Elaborated is the concept of “dream” as a sociological category. The author emphasized that content of the named concept varyed depending on the type of a dreamer. Special attention is paid to characteristics of dream as a social regulator. Also presented is the author’s classification of the dream, i.e. dream-inhabitor, dream-catalist, and dream-stabilizator.
